Christmas Sparkle

Good morning! Is anyone else feeling a little expanded this morning!! lol

I should not have had that second piece of pie!!

I hope you all had a wonderful Thanksgiving and time with family. I still have two more dinners to go to! That means I get to look forward to seeing 10 more pounds on my scale! lol

Anyway, I have a little clean and simple card for you today. This sweet image can be found at Daydream Designs. It is Deck the Halls with the sentiment Christmas Blessings. This fabulous digi came pre-colored! I added a little micro-fine glitter around the edges to make it sparkle. :)

Precious Little Stamp

Hi everyone! I'm so glad you stopped by today! I have a precious little stamp to show you called Dawn Sharing a Biscuit. This image just makes me smile! :)

I colored her using copics and added some frantage for snow. Her hood has a combo of white fluff and glitter. I cut the image out using the Elegant Edges cricut cartridge. I think it makes her look like an adorable little stamp! The ribbon was white, but I really wanted it to be green so I distressed it with peeled paint ink. The wooden corner and vintage seam binding is from Stay True to God.

Good morning friends! I have an awesome image to show you today! This image is from Daydream Designs called Gratitude Sentiment Block. I used my gelatos to make the background. Then did an image transfer onto my canvas. I applied some modeling paste through my chevron and brick stencils. Then applied white and black gesso over each after they were dry. The clock and flowers were from my stash.

Lantern Marci

Hi everyone! Our new challenge is up at 7 Kids Challenge Blog! It's always Anything Goes, so I hope you will join in! Today I am using Christmas Lantern Marci. I colored her up with my copics. I used papers from Botanical Noel and flowers from WOC and I Am Roses. The papers were distressed using the Paper Distresser and then sewn. The image is matted on Kraft paper that was cut with the Spellbinders Floral Ovals and then distressed with Vintage photo ink. The gorgeous chipboard corner is from Stay True to God. The sentiment is from the Christmas Blessings sentiment set at Daydream Designs. The trims were all from my stash. Please see below for a list of all 7 Kids products and copic markers used.

Today I'm using the cute image Christmas Star with a sentiment from the Christmas Circles set. I've colored them with copics and added a little frantage. I used some micro-fine glitter on the bulbs and white fluff on the bunny's hat and tail. The flowers are from I Am Roses and the ribbon and charm are from my stash.

Journal Page

Hi everyone! Today I'd like to show you an insert I made for my Journal (when I get one). ;) I have had a struggle in my life for over 2 years and know all to well what it means to have your fears and dreams in the same place. I thought this stamp was perfect for my very first journal page!

I started by covering a plain piece of cardstock with gesso. Then I added a thin layer of modeling paste and used my crackle stamp over the left side. When it dried, I dotted some Black Soot distress stain over it. On the right side I added Cotton Candy gelato and misted with water. When it had dried, I used Heidi Swapp's stencil #1 and added modeling paste over the hearts only. Then I painted the hearts red and applied a light layer of gesso over my black soot stain. I added a few doodles to my hearts and painted the middle section white with gesso. Then stamped one of the stamps out of the Stuff to Say set from Stampers Anonymous using Jet Black Staz On ink. I used a paper distresser on the black edges to make them torn and shredded. I hope you enjoyed my little journal insert.

Here is my first background page. I first started by rubbing my vintage photo ink across my mat and then spritzing it with water. I ran my paper through it two times to make these wonderful blends.
Then I stamped the crackle image onto my paper using Staz On ink.

For my next page, I used the same technique with the faded jeans ink. I don't have any yellow distress ink, so I used my yellow alcohol ink. I put a few drops of yellow alcohol ink and a few drops of alcohol blending solution onto my applicator and just dabbed it onto my paper. When it was dry, I stamped the music notes using Staz On ink. I then, crinkled the paper all up and ran my tea dye ink over the raised edges, spritzed with water, and dried. I did redo this page to add the other stamp to it. I also handmade the flower using Tim Holtz Tattered Florals die and then dabbed it with silver alcohol ink.

Super exciting news!

Hi all! I am so excited to share with you that I am on the 7KidsCollegeFund DT!! I love shopping on their website; they have a wonderful variety and their prices are great, so I was stoked when I was asked to be on their team!! Also, I also just realized it is my 1 year blogger anniversary!

With all this excitement going on, I thought I would have a drawing for some CANDY!

First, here is my make for 7KidsCollegeFund! For my card, I've used the sweet image from Saturated Canary Harley & Haley. I started by embossing my Cryogen White paper using the Darice Clouds embossing folder and my Big Shot. Then I colored my background and images using Copics. The papers are an eclectic group from Kellerkurtz & Company, Spiced Cider, and Night and Fall. My image is clipped to the background papers using Tim Holtz Mini Paper Clips. These are so cute and fun to use! Then I just had to add one of Melissa Frances Petite Frames. So I decided to add my sentiment inside and enhance it with some beautiful flowers. The flowers are from I Am Roses and WOC with a couple of rolled flowers dies. I added some Stampendous Aged Ivory embossing enamel to some of the flowers and edges of my card. Thanks for stopping by! Sledding Fun

Hi crafty friends! I hope you had a fabulous weekend! We have a new challenge up for you at Crafty Sentiments! This week we would love to see your creations For All the Guys Out There! So show us your amazing cards and projects for the guys!

I have to be honest, I totally forgot it was my week for a card. My life has been a spiral of chaos lately, so when I found out it was my week I whipped this together in about an hour and a half! That includes coloring! I think that was a record for me. Normally, I will sit and think and sit and think and sit and well.......think. This time I didn't have any time to think! ;) lol

So today I used the adorable image Sledging. I haven't ever heard the word sledging before, so I'm guessing that it means sledding. lol

I colored this cutie with copics on cryogen white paper. The papers are one of my favs, Pion Designs Silent Night. I found these beautiful papers at the online store Stay True to God. I have added some white flocking to his hood and glitter on the ground for some snow effect. I have used a script and postcard stamp with brown ink and distressed all the edges. The snowflakes are Sizzix Snowflakes die cut #3 and the pretty latte ribbon is from 3GirlJam.
